Itinerary
Day 1

At KAI, we offer “KAI Hot Spring Healing,” an authentic hot spring cure experience based on the efficacy and quality of the water at the hot springs.

Take a time to relax with with a drink in your room. Now, change your clothes into our original Samue.

Wrap your bath amenities in a traditional furoshiki cloth and head to the grand bath. There, you can enjoy a breathtaking infinity view where the hot spring seamlessly merges with the beautiful scattered islands of the Seto Inland Sea.

Located on the highest floor, alongside the grand bath, this space offers a moment of serenity. As you gaze out over the tranquil Seto Inland Sea, the warmth of the hot spring gently settles, leaving your body deeply relaxed.

Hiroshima has a rich food culture, from lemons and oysters to street food like okonomiyaki. Dinners here playfully incorporate these culinary elements into hot pots and other dishes.

Spend an elegant moment interweaving the origins of Itsukushima Shrine and the history of Miyajima, brought to life through storytelling and the graceful dances of Shirabyoshi, which added vibrant color to the Heian period.

The breathing exercises in the “KAI Hot Spring Healing” Guidebook lets you calm down.

Ginger tea with black vinegar and brown sugar relieves your fatigue and regulates your body temperature. It gradually prepares your body and mind for a relaxing and peaceful sleep.

A soft, cloud-like mattress provides you the most comfortable sleep while supporting your body at its core. Smooth sheets and pillowcases invite you to heavenly sleep.
Day 2

This exercise incorporates movements inspired by the ebb and flow of the Seto Inland Sea, as well as the graceful gestures of the Shirabyoshi dancers.

At KAI, we offer a “Local Breakfast” using ingredients and cooking methods that reflect the local culture. At KAI Miyajima, we prepare a local Hiroshima Prefecture dish.

This contemporary version of the traditional saunas once built in the areas surrounding the sea wraps you in comforting darkness and gentle steam, guiding you towards a deep sense of relaxation.

You can access Miyajima by boat directly from the pier located adjacent to the property. Enjoy sightseeing at the World Heritage site.

With our ryokan as your base, you can also enjoy exploring surrounding attractions, such as Itsukushima Shrine and the Miyajima Ropeway.

Step away from the bustle of the tourist sights and spend a moment of quiet, soothing relaxation.

Savor your meal at your own pace in our dining area, which features cozy semi-private rooms and counter seating with views of the Seto Inland Sea.

The hot spring water at KAI Miyajima is rich in salt, creating a "veil of tide" that coats your skin and locks in warmth to prevent any post-bath chill.
Day 3

Our “Original Exercise” features unique movements that incorporate the local histories and tourism resources. It improves your blood flow, especially when coupled with bathing in hot springs.

Rooms with open-air baths allow you to fully enjoy a morning soak in your own private space.

Off to the dining area to satisfy your stomach.

We offer a curated selection of local items, including oyster shell keychains, regional pottery, and artisanal sweets.

When you leave the inn, you are refreshed and fully charged.
