Tamatsukuri Hot Spring's skin-rejuvenating effects have been known since the 8th century. In the bath halls, the spring feeds a wide indoor bath as well as a rock-lined outdoor bath.

Every night, staff perform a piece of traditional Japanese theater depicting an Izumo legend: the hero Susano-o-no-mikoto defeating the eight-headed snake Yamata-no-orochi. The outfits are colorful, the dancing dynamic.

The nearby seas are full of high-quality seafood such as rosy seabass, clams, and snow crabs. Many of these ingredients are seasonal, ensuring that the meals change throughout the year.
