On the top floor of KAI Zao, a loop-style wellness area allows you to become one with the surrounding nature of Zao. Move freely between the sauna, cold plunge pool, and lounge to achieve your own personal state of mindful clarity.Ascending through the tower's spiral layout brings you to the rooftop garden, where an open-air whirlpool bath awaits. This journey to the upper floor washes away daily stress, quietly unwinding your mind and body.

We also offer a guide to the Detox Spiral, seamlessly leading you from the hot springs through the wellness area.

┃Sauna

An authentic sauna maintained at approximately 80°C, set within a tranquil, dimly lit space. Immerse yourself in the gentle droplets falling onto the sauna stones and the steam rising from occasional löyly as you sweat deeply. Tension melts away from within, guiding you into a state of clear, serene comfort.

┃ Cold Plunge Pool

A cold plunge pool that pure-heartedly embraces your body after it has been thoroughly warmed in the sauna. Cooling down after sweating in the sauna firms the body and enhances a refreshing sense of liberation.

┃ Indoor Relaxation Area

A relaxing space featuring comfortable chairs set by the window, inviting you to sink in deeply. By surrendering yourself to quiet stillness after alternating between hot and cold, your heartbeat settles, guiding you into a state of deep relaxation.

As you step up the stairs, a single beam of light comes into view. Beyond it lies the rooftop garden, where the breeze and sky of Zao embrace your entire body.

An open-air whirlpool bath unfolding gracefully on the rooftop garden. Surrounded by the crisp breeze of Zao, enjoy a luxurious moment of releasing your mind and body alongside breathtaking views. If you are fortunate enough, you might even encounter a mystical sea of clouds.

Notes	* Available exclusively to overnight guests. * The sauna and cold plunge pool on the 7th floor, as well as the rooftop whirlpool bath, are designated swimwear-required areas. Guests wishing to use these facilities are kindly asked to bring their own swimwear in advance. If you do not plan to use the rooftop whirlpool bath, you may relax in the rooftop area wearing yukata, loungewear, or your preferred attire. * The sauna, cold plunge pool, and whirlpool bath are mixed-gender shared facilities. * To ensure a comfortable experience for all guests, photography and video recording are strictly prohibited in the sauna, cold plunge pool, and indoor relaxation area. * Facilities may be closed temporarily during severe weather conditions, such as severe thunder or lightning.
