Savor Kaga-Boucha in space of tradition

During the Edo period, tea culture flourished in Kanazawa under Lord Toshitsune Maeda of the Kaga Domain, giving rise to a unique local tradition. One such result is Kaga-Boucha, a roasted tea made from stems, still loved in modern life. At OMO5 Kanazawa Katamachi, guests can enjoy freshly brewed Kaga-Boucha and seasonal sweets prepared by hotel staff, all served in a beautifully crafted space adorned with traditional Kanazawa arts. It’s a sensory journey into the beauty and flavors of Kanazawa’s tea heritage.
