Taking a stroll through Gion in the early morning, when the town is quiet, you get to catch a glimpse of the otherwise unseen lifestyle of Gion.

A chawa-kai is a casual gathering to talk over powdered green tea and sweets. Neighborhood guide OMO rangers will prepare matcha tea and serve it with Japanese sweets. How about discussing your memories and future travel plans before you go to sleep?

For dinner, you can enjoy the signature "Mizutaki chicken hot pot" from nearby Kyoto cuisine restaurant "Torihisa" in your guestrooms.

This is a one-pot dish from the Edo period in which chicken with bones is boiled in water and vegetables are added for seasoning, and there are many famous restaurants in Kyoto. Slow-cooked Nagoya Cochin chicken soup, tender and tasty chicken, and even rice porridge to finish off the meal can be enjoyed to the fullest.
