Local Rhythm Night "Kyogashi at Night – Sanjo Shop"

Enjoy coffee with Wagashi

Sanjo blends old Kyoto charm with a taste for the new. At OMO5 Kyoto Sanjo, a special nighttime Japanese sweets shop provides a heartwarming break after exploring the city.

Seasonal interior decorate

The space is designed to immerse guests in the four seasons of Kyoto. Seasonal noren (fabric dividers) decorate the area, creating an atmosphere that shifts with the months. At the heart of the room is a charming wagashi (Japanese sweets) stall, showcasing the deep cultural heritage of Kyoto's confections with displays of seasonal sweets for all twelve months.

Pairing of Wagashi&Coffee

We offer a special "Wagashi × Coffee" set that pairs coffee—beloved by the people of Kyoto, known for having one of the highest coffee consumption rates in Japan—with traditional Kyoto wagashi that reflect the beauty of the changing seasons. Enjoy a unique flavor experience born from the harmony of tradition and innovation, only possible in Kyoto.

Soothing moment of harmony

Using the brewing method taught directly by the master of the nearby classic coffee shop "Smart Coffee," our hotel staff, the OMO Rangers, prepare carefully crafted drip coffee right before your eyes. For wagashi, we select exquisite seasonal sweets from renowned local shops such as "Nijo Wakasaya" and "Tsuruya Yoshinobu." Surrounded by the rich aroma of slowly brewed coffee and the gentle sweetness of wagashi, you can enjoy a relaxing and peaceful moment.
