  • OMO Ranger Program about Universal Studios Japan” - a daily program on how to enjoy Universal Studios Japan to the fullest

    At OMO7 Osaka, we will host a daily program called “Not to be Missed: OMO RangerProgram about Universal Studio Japan” from May 12, 2023, to share inside tips on how to enjoy Universal Studios Japan to the fullest.
    For example, Universal Studios Japan Authorized OMO Rangers will share the best ways to take Instagram-worthy photos, which have been researched through trial and error by our staff walking around the park and introduce souvenirs carefully selected based on the unique viewpoint of USJ super fans.
    Furthermore, 30 types of accessories, including headbands and hats, are available at the hotel! Find out about these accessories here first, then get them at the park.

    Our rangers will also provide in-depth explanations on how to use the various goods to communicate with the Park characters and coordinate their outfit to suit different scenes. Packed with insights collected through visits to the park by our OMO rangers, this program will enable guests to enjoy every aspect of Universal Studios Japan.

    OMO Rangers – neighborhood guides who love Universal Studios Japan – have undergonerigorous training at Universal Studios Japan to become a authorized guide.
    As a result, Japan's first Universal Studios Japan Authorized OMO Rangers were born.
    OMO Rangers will pop up around OMO Base, the hotel's public space, to answer guests' questions on anything related to Universal Studios Japan, such as strategies for efficient visits to different areas of the park, where to eat, and what souvenirs to buy.
    The OMO Rangers are so passionate about Universal Studios Japan that they may even give out rare information the guests haven't even asked for.
    Be sure to keep an eye out for staff members wearing the OMO Ranger badges!

  • Shaved Ice with Cotton Candy and Mixed Juice

    "Mixed juice" is said to have originated at a café near our hotel in Shinsekai.

    The shaved ice contains fruits, such as peach and pine, and milk ice, combined with fluffy cotton candy. Pouring fruit sauce melts the cotton candy to make the shaved ice have a mixed juice flavor. It's sweets with a new kind of sensation.

    On this guided tour, you will learn about Kansai's dashi or broth culture through observation and conversations.

  • Universal Studios Japan Shuttle Bus

    All yearThe OMO Bus Ride - to Universal Studios Japan - on-board entertainment on outbound service will start on 1 August 2024.

    It takes about 30 minutes from OMO7 Osaka to Universal Studios Japan. The free shuttle bus is very convenient to access the park.

    From 1 August 2024, an on-bus entertainment programme featuring OMO Rangers authorized by Universal Studios Japan will be held daily on outbound service.

    The unique dialogue, the park's unique perspective and the adorable park friends will give you a new kind of bus experience, as if you were riding on an attraction.

    This is a limited-time only afternoon tea service featuring 10 types of sweets and savories made with octopus, which is an essential part of Osaka's culinary culture, as well as the autumn favorites of chestnuts and pumpkin, served on OMO7 Osaka's original stand.

    Instead of the traditional autumn fare of "potatoes, chestnuts, and pumpkin", you can enjoy a new sensory experience consisting of "octopus, chestnuts, and pumpkin."

  • What in the world is Naniwa? Lesson

    For this activity, we will invite speakers from the neighborhood around OMO7 Osaka to give talks on the history and culture of the city of Osaka.
    The topic of the talk varies from day to day, and the speakers will participate in an engaging discussion with our hotel staff on interesting aspects of Osaka's unique culture, such as taking a closer look at Kizu Market, where locals love to gather.
    We have no doubt that you will feel closer to Osaka and enjoy your trip even more after listening to these talks!

  • Lush Garden Area "Miya-green"

    The lushly green garden area "Miya-geenr," spread across approximately 7,600 square meters in front of the station.

    It consists of a large grass plaza surrounded by tiered deck terraces and walking paths, forming an area reminiscent of a green hill.

    This is a public space where you can relax and enjoy a luxurious time while feeling the city's vibrancy.

    "Yuya" is a public bath building that is the symbol of Miyagreen.

    Referring to the period when Osaka's public bath culture was at its height, it has a distinctive appearance that represents "light and shadow." The ceiling has an open skylight that leads to the outside, so you can feel the air and smell outside in the bathroom, and the bathroom is like a white space that gently reflects the light coming in from outside. In the bathhouse, you can relax and feel the Osaka public bath culture.
