~30 kinds of Chamorro food buffet and smoked BBQ will be added to the power-up~!

From July 20 to September 30, 2024, "PIRIKARA BBQ Summer Festeval" a Guam BBQ full of spiciness, will be held. This event is the first time to enjoy BBQ with "Dinanche", a spicy all-purpose seasoning loved by the people of Guam, and will be held during the summer period. This time, in addition to grilled BBQ, you can also enjoy smoked style BBQ. In addition, the "Marshmallow Chili Roulette," in which only one marshmallow with chili is offered per couple, will be newly introduced with an original song and musical instruments to encourage guests who are in agony from the spiciness.

About PIRIKARA(Spicy)BBQ Summer Festival

During the Age of Discovery, Guam was a transit point for the galleon trade between Mexico and the Philippines, and various chili peppers were brought to Guam from South America. Later, it is said that the culture of eating spicy foods, combined with the constant summer weather, took root. In fact, Guam is the area with the highest consumption of Tabasco per capita in the world (*2). In addition to Tabasco, people in Guam love spicy foods such as Finadeni (*3) and Dinanche, which are prepared at home with several kinds of spicy seasonings. Point1 BBQ with Dinanche, a spicy seasoning

We serve BBQ, which is an essential part of Guam's festival, in a spectacular skewer style. The BBQ pit is a 7-foot-long ship shaped like a traditional Guam canoe, Proa and its size allows you to dynamically grill food. You can cut up the amount of food you want grilled in the BBQ pit, including beef chunks and chicken, spicy chamorro sausage, and sweet, juicy pineapple.

Point 2 In addition to Grilled BBQ, Smoked Style BBQ is now available!

You can create your own color palette by mixing colorful tropical ingredients, chili peppers, and spices on the spicy palette. For those who don't like spicy food, or for children, you can combine it with mango or coconut for a mild flavor, or for those who want to go all out with spicy food, you can pair it with local chili peppers called boonies, jalapenos, habaneros, onions, and garlic.

Point3 Marshmallow Chili Roulette has a new original song to encourage guests!

The best way to end a BBQ is with grilled marshmallows. The "Marshmallow Chili Roulette," in which only one chili per couple is served, is a new service in which the staff encourages guests who are writhing in agony from the spiciness with an original song and musical instruments. The capsaicin in chili peppers is said to release adrenaline in the body, making for an energetic and enjoyable experience.

Point4 In addition to BBQ, enjoy a buffet of over 30 Chamorro dishes

When it comes to the end of BBQ, grilled marshmallows. We serve MEGA-sized marshmallows, which are rare in Japan. The sweetness of the sticky marshmallows soothes the inside of the mouth after eating spicy food. However, only one of them contains marshmallows with chili, which is a dessert that won't let you out until the end.
