Machi no Kenkyusho Co., Ltd., which jointly operates RISONARE Osaka, operates six licensed nursery schools and certified nursery schools in Tokyo. The nursery school places value on the creativity and expression of children and is engaged in community-wide childcare. In this context, Issei Miyake Co., Ltd., a neighboring company with whom we have a connection, provided materials and incorporated the encounter between children and cloth into our childcare activities. When considering the spring project at RISONARE Osaka, we felt that the story of Issei Miyake fabric would lead to the rich creativity of children under the theme of Blooming flowers.

When children encounter the sophisticated cloth of Issei Miyake, they discover a relationship with the cloth that goes beyond wearing clothes in daily life. The fun of "wearing" a piece of cloth, the possibility of blending with the body through "putting, rolling, and piling," and the wonder of changing like a living creature according to their movements. The colors dance as their hearts bounce, and they "express" while exploring the relationship with the material. We look forward to seeing children blossom their own sensibilities with the cloth of Issei Miyake in the spring Blooming flowers project, which is full of life.
