Rediscovering Ubud in a sanctuary located above a sacred river

Perched above the sacred river for Balinese Hindus, the Pakerisan River Valley. Located away from the urban hub of Ubud, HOSHINOYA Bali nestles within a corner surrounded by lush jungles and UNESCO Heritage rice terraces.

Gifts from the Sacred River

The god Indra is said to have created the famous spring of Tirta Empul when he thrust his sword into the earth and drew water from the ground. These holy waters flow into the Pakerisan River, nurturing the jungles of Ubud that grow along its banks.

Overlooking the Valley

The environment embraces the typical Balinese geography, where flat land dips suddenly towards a river valley and streams below. The public area are located at the edge of the valley, woven into the natural landscape. As you walk down the boardwalk, the scenery of the valley unfolds beneath your eyes.

Another Valley

The accommodation zone where villas stand in the flat part of the premises. Among the villas and lush trees, there lies another valley landscape created by the interconnected pools flowing amidst the villas.
