The traditional weaving of the Atayal tribe plays an integral part in the aboriginal weaving culture. Come experience an introduction to the Atayal people’s traditional textile weaving culture and techniques to use the desktop loom to weave fabrics. There will be a teacher who will demonstrate and teach you how to create your own unique work with a traditional weaving machine.

With the evening breeze, take a deep breath and slow down. Open up your five senses, and slowly relax your body and mind to take in your surroundings of the valley, moonlight, and stars. Release your stress, and enjoy your time with nature.

Savor tea and coffee by the water, in lush greenery. Let the aroma and setting bring a tranquil, extraordinary escape from daily life.

Join our staff in the Water Garden to experience a day in the lives of Atayal men and women, learning hunting wisdom and local plant knowledge.
