Day 2

Inspired by the powerful movements of the earth at Mount Kusatsu-Shirane, the "Kusatsu-Shirane Gymnastics" incorporates stretching and deep breathing exercises.

At KAI Kusatsu, a tunnel directly connects the property to the hot spring town, making it easy to head out for a casual stroll.

After a stroll through the hot spring town, unwind in the Fireplace Lounge. Enjoy a luxurious moment of relaxation as you watch the ambiance change with the passage of time.

At the Gotochi-gaku (local culture) pavilion inspired by the Tomioka Silk Mill, you can experience Joshu Zaguri, a traditional silk-reeling technique that has been passed down since the Edo period.

At Soba Kappo SAI, located within KAI Kusatsu, you can enjoy 100% buckwheat soba made with locally sourced flour.
