Local arts and seasonal flavors
Dinners begin with a rillette of boar and runner-bean miso. The main is chicken thighs cooked in a nutrient-rich broth until it is soft enough to fall off the bone. At Soba Kappo SAI, we also offer a traditional "Kikouchi Soba" (100% buckwheat noodle) Kaiseki course.
Dining at KAI Kusatsu
A private dining experience in a semi-private setting. For dinner, we serve an exquisite Kaiseki course featuring our signature "Joshu Joyanabe" (hot pot), designed to let you experience the rich culture and hot-spring atmosphere of Kusatsu with both your eyes and palate.
Soba Kappo Restaurant "SAI"
A soba kappo operating alongside KAI Kusatsu. Inside the beautifully lush, green interior, you can enjoy soba noodles made with locally-sourced, 100% pure buckwheat flour.
