Cool-down Soaking

New Standard: Summer Onsen
Under the supervision of a balneotherapy specialist, KAI presents "Cool-down Soaking"—a unique way to beat the summer heat. Enjoy a revitalizing hot spring experience complemented by specially designed cooling spaces and refreshing beverages.
The “Cool-Down Bath” is a new summer hot spring therapy experience based on the expertise of hot spring therapy specialists. By soaking for 10 to 20 minutes in water at 35 to 36°C—known as the “insensitive temperature”—which is close to body temperature, this bathing method gently lowers deep body temperature without placing unnecessary strain on the body.
To further cool down your body from the inside after your soak, we offer "Post-bath Beer" and "Chilled Amazake." Known as an "IV drip you can drink," chilled amazake is the perfect way to replenish both hydration and nutrients after bathing.
