Castle Town Party with echoing drums

Savoring the Castleto time
As night falls, a delightful banquet begins amidst traditional Japanese decorations that appear in the castle town. With nightly taiko drum performances and a glass of Kuma Shochu in hand, immerse yourself in a special evening moment, savoring the lingering essence of Kumamoto.
At the OMO Base, traditional Japanese decorations reminiscent of Kumamoto Castle at night evoke the vibrant atmosphere of the old castle town. This space, adorned with designs inspired by the castle's heritage, creates a luxurious time for you to experience the spirit of Kumamoto and how it has evolved through the ages.
The pleasant sounds woven by talented young local musicians will liven up the festivities. Exclusive to OMO5 Kumamoto, the performance is both powerful and stylish, naturally drawing you into the vibrant bustle of the castle town.
We offer Kuma Shochu selected from 27 different distilleries in Kumamoto Prefecture, perfect as an after-dinner drink and served in traditional "Gara" pitchers and "Choku" cups. Our "Maewari Shochu," prepared the day before by mixing it with water, embodies the spirit of Kumamoto hospitality. Its milder, smoother flavor makes it easily enjoyable even for those trying Kuma Shochu for the first time.
