The iconic former Yokohama City Hall, a structure long cherished by citizens and designed by the celebrated architect Togo Murano, has been reborn as a hotel. To pass its legacy on to the future, original design elements have been carefully incorporated throughout. The bakery features tile art that beautifully harmonizes the old and the new. Furthermore, the grand staircase from the former Citizen's Plaza—including its original wooden handrails—has been recreated as the hotel's main staircase.
