Kaikyokan Behind-the-Scenes Tour

This special tour takes you behind the scenes of Kaikyokan—areas usually closed to the public—with insightful commentary from staff who know the aquarium inside out. You can experience unique behind-the-scenes sights, including the cranes used to transport marine life, creatures not on regular display, and a view looking down into the main tank from above.

*This program is exclusively for hotel guests.
*Open to elementary school students and older. (Although the system displays "6 years old and above," preschool children cannot participate to ensure safety.)

*Please remove any accessories that could fall off before participating.
*Please wear non-slip shoes (such as sneakers) to participate.
*Eating and drinking are prohibited during the tour.
*Please leave large luggage at the front desk of RISONARE Shimonoseki or in the coin lockers located at Kaikyokan.
*When using photography equipment, please be careful not to drop it into the tank.
*Water may splash and soil your clothing. Thank you for your understanding.
*Please use the restroom before assembling.
