Special Operations Notice for the Kanmon Straits Fireworks Festival

On Thursday, August 13, 2026, the day of the fireworks festival, our hotel will operate under special conditions. Please ensure you read and agree to the following guidelines before making a reservation.

Note: Reservations are accepted exclusively through our official website. To ensure accuracy, we do not accept bookings over the phone.

• On the day of the event, traffic restrictions will be in place around the Shimonoseki and Moji areas, so traffic jams and heavy crowds are expected.

• Due to traffic restrictions and the paid reserved seating set up by the fireworks festival organizers, there are times when vehicle entry and exit to/from the hotel is prohibited.

  Please check the [Notes on Hotel Entry and Exit for the Day] below and allow plenty of time for your entry and exit.

• Public transportation such as buses and trains may also operate on special schedules on the day.

  We recommend that staying guests use public transportation and allow extra time for sightseeing.

Due to the traffic restrictions mentioned above, there are limitations on the times you can enter or exit the hotel.

Please note that it will not be possible to depart or arrive outside of these designated times.

You must depart by 1:00 PM.

Additionally, please be aware when booking that hotel facilities will not be available after 1:00 PM.

■ Guests checking in on August 13

You must arrive by 2:00 PM.

After 2:00 PM, the area will enter traffic restrictions, and vehicle access to/from the hotel will be cut off.

Reservations for accommodation on the day of the Kanmon Straits Fireworks Festival can only be made through the exclusive WEB plans.

At the "Special Viewing Seats," where you can watch the fireworks from Naminami Terrace, you can relax and enjoy the display in an exclusive area featuring music and drink service.

[Special Viewing Area Overview]

■Fee: 5,000 yen

　*Per adult

　*Children ages 0–11: Free

　(Please book under "Ages 7–11," "Ages 4–6," or "Sharing Bed / Ages 0–6.")

■Capacity: 50 people

■Included in the fee: Admission to the Special Viewing Area and drink service during the fireworks festival.

*If you wish to reserve a Special Viewing Seat, please do so via the link below. Note that this must be booked separately from your accommodation plan.

*Special Viewing Seats are available exclusively for staying guests.

*Seating is limited. Reservations will close as soon as the capacity is reached.

*We do not offer a waiting list for cancellations. Thank you for your understanding.

The decision to hold or cancel the Kanmon Straits Fireworks Festival will be announced by the Kanmon Straits Fireworks Festival Executive Committee (the organizers).

【Accommodation】

If the Kanmon Straits Fireworks Festival is canceled, our standard cancellation policy will still apply should you choose to cancel your accommodation.　

　4-21 days prior: 10%

　0-3 days prior: 100%

【Special Viewing Seats】

・In case of cancellation due to customer reasons, a cancellation fee will be charged as follows: 1 week to the day before: 50%, on the day: 100%.

・If the Kanmon Straits Fireworks Festival is canceled due to weather or other factors, your reservation will be canceled free of charge.

・The festival is considered "Officially Held" once the first firework is launched. No refunds will be provided if the event is interrupted or ended prematurely after that point due to sudden weather changes.

【Important】To prepare for the special viewing seats and to prevent confusion during the fireworks festival, the use of some public spaces in the hotel will be restricted as follows on the day.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
