Galungan &Kuningan Celebration

Experience the vibrant Balinese festival of Galungan, celebrating the triumph of good over evil as ancestral spirits return to Earth. For ten days, streets and homes are decorated with penjor—ornate bamboo poles—while families pray and visit temples. The festival ends with Kuningan, when the spirits ascend back to the heavens.

Barong Bangkung Dance

Gebogan Making

Available on June 16 and 26, at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

Discover the art of creating a traditional Balinese Gebogan, a beautifully arranged offering of fruits, flowers, and cakes symbolizing gratitude and harmony.

Cenigan Making

Available on June 17, at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

Cenigan are used for offerings placed as decorations to beautify penjors in certain parts. They symbolize the earth and assert human life made with various religious ornaments, including mountains, chili-chilian, moon, stars, and the sun.

Tamiang Making

Available on June 27, at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

Tamiang represents a shield in Balinese. The art of Tamiang making is utilized to enhance penjors or adornments during Balinese ceremonies or festivals.

Tiga Tape Refreshment

Available on June 17 and 27, at 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM.

Experience Tiga Tape, a traditional Balinese fermentation of white sticky rice, cassava, and black sticky rice with a sweet-tangy flavor. Served with Injin Mojito, a refreshing black sticky rice twist on a classic mojito.
