Awamori Discovery
Enjoy Awamori and the traditions that have continued since the Ryukyu Dynasty through guided tours and making old sake.
Awamori is considered Japan's oldest distilled liquor and has long been popular in Okinawa. Today, it is brewed in over 45 sake breweries throughout the prefecture. During the special dinner, we suggest various ways to enjoy awamori.
The private bar offers more than 20 types of awamori from sake breweries in the prefecture. You can learn about the differences in yeast and distillation methods, select your preferred awamori, and pair it with your favorite side dish.
You will visit a limestone cave to learn about the water sources essential for making awamori. Afterward, you will observe the brewing process at a 140-year-old brewery and discover the techniques passed down through generations.
