The bath halls are decorated with
traditional gold and silver leaf and ceramic panels depicting seasonal motifs. There is also a replica of a 19th-century public bathhouse.

Every night, staff perform a contemporary reworking of a traditional dance depicting a samurai combatting a shishi—a mythical lion—represented by a large, colorful wooden head.

The kaiseki dinners feature premium seasonal delicacies, such as rosy seabass and crabs that can only be caught at certain times of the year. Food is served on ceramicware crafted in the regional Kutani-yaki style.
