Magnificent Hokuriku Scenery That Colors The Spring

Let's go to Hokuriku in spring!

Asahifunagawa "Spring Quartet"

The quartet of cherry trees, tulips, nanohana, and Mount Asahi, sprinkled with lingering snow, in the background, come together miraculously to create a spectacular sight of Toyama. (Toyama Prefecture)

Kanazawa Castle Park

You can see plenty of cherry blossoms at Kanazawa Castle Park, one of Kanazawa's tourist attractions! Of these cherry blossoms, the ones that blossom along the stone walls are the most magnificent. (Ishikawa Prefecture)

Asuwa River Cherry Blossom

The Asuwa River runs through the heart of Fukui City. Along its banks are rows of cherry trees, numbering approximately 600 trees and spanning a length of 2.2km.

Yuki-no-Otani Snow Wall

"Yuki-no-Otani", a huge 20-meter-high wall of snow appears in Tateyama Murodoudaira, which sees some of the heaviest snowfall in the world. The impressive towering snow wall is a spectacular view that is representative of Tateyama Kurobe in spring. (Toyama Prefecture)

There is also a World Heritage Site just a little beyond the Hokuriku area!
