Nebuta Matsuri Paper Float Display

Floating Paper Sculptures

Paper sculptures and lanterns are floated on the pond that surrounds the outdoor bath in homage to a local tradition in which paper lanterns are floated on rivers and the sea for good fortune—a tradition that formed the origin of the Nebuta Matsuri festival.

Floating Cherry Blossom Lantern Bath

Gaze at a full-blown cherry blossom tree while bathing- it is crafted using the traditional technique of creating Nebuta festival float. Cherry blossom colored glass lanterns also float on the pond that surrounds the outdoor bath.
