This time of year is marked by the traditional "Hamauri" festival on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month, a day to pray for women's health. Hamauri (Cleansing at the Shore)
A traditional event held on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month to pray for women's health. It is customary to bring heavy boxes of food to the beach and purify oneself by dipping hands and feet into the seawater.
